Frostfang Wolf quick guide: stack Ice, then tail strike
Build Ice stacks with the returning blade or triple slash. At five stacks, use the core flip-and-tail strike to consume them for an extra 85% power. The passive also grants 15% crit against targets above 50 Ice stacks.
Triple slash to five stacks, then spend them
The forward triple slash hits three times and applies five Ice stacks. The returning blade sustains Ice buildup while consuming energy, then can be recalled. The core flip-and-tail strike consumes five stacks for 85% extra power. The passive adds 15% crit against targets above 50 Ice stacks.

After Break: Ice blade → ultimate → tail strike
After the team breaks the target, use the returning blade to build Ice. At five stacks, cast the ultimate and follow with the core tail strike to consume them. Rebuild energy with basic attacks, then repeat. The Red-Light and Night-Demon variants work similarly but, according to the creator, do not apply Ice stacks.

Stats and team: energy and Attack first
Prioritize energy recovery and Attack. If the team already has a Break unit, skip Break potential and spend remaining points on HP and defenses. Beast Fang is recommended. The creator’s team uses Golden Shell Crab for Break, Dream Butterfly for energy and Hidden Dragon for healing.

Evolution and forms: Ice Bone Cub to Frostfang Wolf
The creator gives the evolution chain as Ice Bone Cub → Ice Blade Wolf → Frostfang Wolf. The Night form can be caught in a pit at Wolf Fang Ridge; the red-glow form comes from the Nourish the Leyline event. Verify current event and map availability.
