Twining: choose a companion for the obstacle
The short answer
Twining lets you use an Aniimo’s abilities for movement, combat, and exploration. Start with the obstacle and inspect that form’s mobility, independently of combat strength.
Read the obstacle
- Need water travel, climbing, or fast ground movement? Search mobility names in the wiki.
- Check habitats and form before capturing a similar-looking creature.
- Try the ability in a safe place to learn duration, stamina use, and how to exit.
Stamina and routing
- Plan a landing or rest point before a long flight or sprint.
- A detour or companion change can solve the route. Your carry does not need every exploration ability.

- Twining is using the companion, a form is a variant, and evolution is a growth relationship. The wiki lists them separately.
