Reduce player-marker clutter on the map
The short answer
Open Menu → Settings → Game Settings → marker sharing. Hide mysterious linker markers and reduce friend/stranger marker counts to zero if needed. You can also hide sharing of your own markers.
Adjustment order
- Open Menu → Settings → Game settings, then find marker-sharing options.
- Hide other travelers’ shared markers, then lower the visible stranger-marker count.
- If clutter remains, adjust friend markers and sharing of your own markers, keeping useful route notes.
- Return to the map to inspect the result. Labels may vary by localization; distinguish sharing from visibility count.
